What cookies are, which ones this store uses, and how to change your mind at any time.
1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device when you visit it. Cookies let a site remember things between page loads and between visits: what is in your basket, which language you chose, whether you are logged in. We also use related technologies such as local storage and pixels. Wherever this policy says “cookies”, it covers those too.
2. Your choice
When you first visit forgewellcookware.com you are shown a cookie banner. Strictly necessary cookies are set automatically because the store cannot function without them. Every other category, meaning preferences, analytics and marketing, is set only after you give consent.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the cookie settings link in the site footer, or by clearing the cookies in your browser and reloading the page so the banner reappears.
3. The categories we use
Strictly necessary
These make the store work: keeping your basket, securing checkout, load balancing and fraud prevention. They cannot be switched off, and they do not require consent.

Preferences
These remember choices you make so the store behaves the way you left it: language, currency, region, dismissed notices. Switching them off means re entering those choices each visit.
Analytics
These tell us how the store is used in aggregate: which pages people visit, where they arrive from, where they leave. We use this to fix what is broken and improve what is not. The data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.

4. Third party cookies
Some cookies are placed by third parties whose services we use: our platform, payment providers, analytics and advertising partners. We do not control those cookies, and their use of any data they collect is governed by their own privacy policies. Where a third party is a marketing or analytics partner, its cookies are set only after you consent.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
Independently of our banner, every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies:

Blocking all cookies will stop parts of the store from working, in particular the basket and checkout.
6. Do Not Track
Browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is still no agreed standard for how sites should respond to it, so our store does not currently change its behaviour when it receives one. Your choices in our cookie banner are what govern the cookies we set.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our tools or the law change. The revision date at the top of this page always shows when it was last updated.
